County Deputy Public Works Director Joshua Pack says if you take them to the McCourtney Road facility, they are open Wednesdays through Sundays from 8am to 3pm. Also, on January 7, trees will be accepted at the Lake Wildwood Wastewater Treatment Plant, the Lake of the Pines Wastewater Treatment Plant, and the Alta Sierra Fire Department on Tammy Way, all from 9am to 3pm. The easiest way to recycle your tree, though,is to chop it up and put it in your green waste cart, if that option is available.
