The Nevada Joint Union High School District has selected a new board member. Six candidates had applied to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of Georgie Coulter in January, and District Superintendent Louise Johnson says after those candidates were interviewed last night, they came up with a winner…
Johnson says the public got to ask some questions, followed a thorough interview process by the board…
Former KNCO employee Paul Haas had applied for the position, but withdrew before the interview process began because of a potential conflict. His wife is a teacher in the district. The 35 year-old Reeves was seated on the board immediately after her appointment.
