Relief Fund Deadline Extended

Donations continue to pour in for the fourth round of Nevada County’s coronavirus Relief Fund. A spokeswoman for what’s called the “Small Business Winter Survival Campaign”, Cristine Kelly, says although the application deadline to get a micro-grant from the Fund of up to five-thousand dollars is today (Mon.), the donation deadline has been extended until around the middle of the month. She says the Stay At Home Order is a likely factor.

Kelly says the campaign has received the most donations of any of the four rounds, exceeding the 250-thousand-dollar goal by at least several thousand dollars. That includes 100-thousand dollars from the county, as well as 75-thousand dollars from Truckee…

And to date, all four rounds have raised close to one-point-one million dollars.
