Remains Identified as Nevada County Man

Human remains that were found in Riverside County four years ago have been identified as those of a Nevada County man. 30 year-old Isaiah Marsh of North San Juan was reported missing by friends and family in April of 2009. In May of that year, Marsh’s vehicle was found in the Desert Hot Springs area, and the case was classified as a homicide. Remains were found in June of 2009, but a D-N-A match had not been made until now. No word on why it has taken so long to make the identification. The Nevada County Sheriff’s Office referred all calls to the Riverside County Sheriff. KNCO’s calls have not been returned.
