Remapping Of Supervisor Districts Nearly Complete

The option that’s likely to be adopted would move the Lake Vera community into District One, from District Five, which includes Truckee. Heidi Hall represents District One. Monaghan said, with Supervisor Hardy Bullock’s District Five projected to have the highest growth in the next decade, the shift of that community seems appropriate. That’s in reference to District Four Supervisor Sue Hoek. There were no public comments at this hearing. The final remapping is scheduled for December 9th. Then the Board of Supervisors is expected to formally adopt the changes at its December 14th meeting, just one day before the legal deadline.
