Police are looking for a man who reportedly approached a girl on her way home from school. The young girl, a student at Magnolia Intermediate School, was walking home from the bus stop in the area of Combie and Rodeo Flat Roads in the south county. According to Pleasant Ridge School District Superintendent, Rusty Clark, the girl’s mother reported the incident to the district Monday.
The district responded yesterday by notifying the Pleasant Ridge District community.
The young girl described the truck as a red Chevy truck and the suspect driver a middle-aged man with a goatee. Clark gives credit to the young girl as well as the family for the girl’s response to the potentially dangerous situation.*
