Resolution Honors the late Gene Albaugh

A resolution   to name the Community Room at the Madelyn Helling Library in honor of the late Gene Albaugh was passed unanimously today by the Nevada County Board of Supervisors.

Mr. Albaugh was the County Administrative Officer during the period in which the library was constructed and played a crucial role in obtaining the funds needed and leadership to see the project through. Past County Librarian Madelyn Helling joined the Friends of Nevada County Libraries and others  in making the request for the designation honoring Mr. Albaugh.
