Start your new year with a run or 5 K walk with friends. The Resolve 2 Run organized event in Chicago Park New Years morning could be just the thing.
That’s Sue Ramey who with Chicago Park 4 H is organizing this third annual event.
That’s tomorrow, of course you can always register on the morning of the event.
If you plan to register the day of they suggest you go to the website and download the application and fill it out ahead of time to keep the lines moving.
Last year the Resolve to run event drew 300 participants and in order to handle the crowds they are offering expanded parking and a shuttle.
Registration and awards will be inside the warm gym at Chicago Park School and all proceeds from the event wil go toward the Chicago Park School PTA, Chicago Park 4-H which is the oldest continually running 4-H club in the state, and to the Peardale Chicago Park Firefighters Association.
