That includes ensuring tables are placed at least six-feet apart and also proper distancing for customers who are waiting for available seating. Irani says it shouldn’t be too difficult to accomplish, with most restaurants already having many of these measures in place for takeout service…
Irani says the Environmental Health Department will be working toward visiting restaurants for compliance, beginning Tuesday. It’s not clear how soon or if all restaurants here will go back to indoor dining, under these restrictions. Irani says some restaurant owners aren’t sure this is an econmically feasible model, with fewer tables allowed in many instances.
