Results of the first-ever Community Health Assessment for Nevada County have been released. Unlike the county’s Health Status report, which usually comes out every other year, with specific numbers on disease frequency and other related issues, Public Health Director Jill Blake says the Assessment paints a broader picture. The plan is scheduled to be released in November. Blake says they’ve collected over 530 surveys so far and are still looking for more input. The survey is available on the Nevada County Public Health website.
