Rider Avoids Law Enforcement During Motorcycle Chase

A solo motorcyclist managed to avoid being caught during a high speed chase just across the Yuba County line Tuesday. CHP Officer Greg Tassone tells KNCO that the bright green and black motorcycle was first spotted by law enforcement traveling at a high rate of speed near Peoria Road around 2:45 PM.

The motorcycle then turned off Highway 20 onto Peoria Road and began winding its way through the countryside.

Officers from multiple agencies canvassed the area looking for the motocycle but were unable to locate it or the rider.
Nevada County Sheriff, Yuba-Sutter CHP, and Yuba County Sheriff were involved in the pursuit and investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact one of those agencies.
