The Rincon Del Rio retirement community development will go before the Nevada County Planning Commission for a decision today.  The proposal calls for development of a 215 acre site that encompasses for parcels near the Bear River. The development of 345  clustered and detached homes would be concentrated on 40 acres of the property located on the western side of the  development site.  The last hearing on Rincon Del Rio lasted for 7 hours as a majority of supporters and some opposing  the project spoke during public hearing and commissioners asked questions of the developers and county planning department staff.  Today the meeting is not expected to last as long and will get underway at 1:30 this afternoon in the Board of Supervisors chamber at the Rood Center.
