Whether it’s major highways, residential streets, or even sidewalks, there is road work going on all over Nevada County. In the unincorporated areas, work has finished on Brunswick Road and the winter “slipout” has been repaired. This project fills the gap, which means you’ll be able to walk all the way from Nevada City to the Brunswick Basin without having to step in the roadway. Work on both projects should be done toward the end of the month. In addition to the county projects, Grass Valley is working on East Main Street and Brunswick Roads, and CalTrans has projects along Highways 20 and 49.
