Road Work With Gas Tax Funds Now Underway

The paving project should only last through tomorrow, but Pack says you could experience delays of up to ten minutes while driving through there. One-way controlled traffic will be in effect. Also being paid for with S-B 1 money is the replacement of a small bridge off of Tyler Foote Road. Pack says the Purdon Road bridge at Shady Creek has out-lived its structural life…

That work begins today. The bridge was built in the 1940s. The project will cost about one-point-eight million dollars, and should be done by the end of year. Expect minimal delays when traveling through there.
