Robbers Fire Update Sunday July 15

Cal Fire is still estimating containment of the Robers Fire for Wednesday July 18th. The Fire has grown to 2,250 acres with 20 % containment.  3 structures have burned including outbuildings and 1 residence.   There are 1,963 personnel assigned to the fire today.

Current Situation: Fire continues to spread on the East and North sides of the fire threatening Brushy Creek Subdivision, Haynes Mine, and Kings Hill. Resources are assigned to structure defense in the threatened areas.
Evacuations: Evacuations remain in effect for homes off Yankee Jims & Southern part of Iowa Hill. The following streets are evacuated: Parts of Yankee Jims, Just Rd., Big Dipper Rd., Glory Mound Rd., Kings Hill Rd., Brushy Bear Rd., Brushy Creek Ln., Macy Creek, Adelin, Blind Doe, Mountain Lion, Spring Garden Rd, Log Cabin Ln, Pine Mountain Rd, Small Hope Mine Ln, Owl Creek Rd and parts of Shirttail Canyon

Road Closures: Just Rd., Big Dipper Rd., Glory Mound Rd., Kings Hill Rd., Brushy Bear Rd., Brushy Creek Ln., Spring Garden Rd, Log Cabin Ln, Pine Mountain Rd, Small Hope Mine Ln, Owl Creek Rd and parts of Shirttail Canyon, and parts of Shirttail Canyon Rd. Evacuated roads remain closed.
Cooperating Agencies: Placer County Sheriff, Placer County OES, Placer County Animal Control, California National Guard, CHP, CalEMA,  BLM, CDCR, State Parks, and BOR.

Additional Information: The American Red Cross has established an evacuation shelter at the Foresthill High School. Animal Shelter is located at the Pleasant Street entrance of the Gold Country Fairgrounds.
