The Executive Committee of the Nevada County Economic Resources Council has announced that Robert Trent will not continue as Executive Director when his contract ends on September 30th. ERC Chair, Robert Bergman says Robert Trent assisted the ERC in important ways and the tasks he took on and the challenges he met along the way were not easy ones to address.  Bergman says The ERC appreciates the energy and focus Trent  put into his work. Bergman says, now the ERC is looking forward to continuing its success by meeting the goals of its two year contract with Nevada County.

Besides implementing a Tourism Marketing Plan,  Bergman says the ERC will continue to provide events, such as the Economic Forecast Summit and Tour of Nevada County and increasing membership.  Bergman says plans for replacing the Executive Director position will be announced at a later date.
