Rock thrower arrested

A man suspected of throwing rocks at a fire truck is behind bars. CHP Public Information Officer Marc Morrison says a 64-year-old transient was seen by fire fighters walking in road near Highway 174 and Brunswick Road, on Monday. Officer Morrison says when fire fighters approached the man he became very angry and began yelling and throwing rocks at them.

Officer Morrison says a CHP officer took the transient into custody  for the alleged  threats.  He was booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility.
