Rollover on 49 Near Independence Trail

A single vehicle rollover accident blocking southbound Highway 49 about a half mile from the Independence Trail. CHP Officer Justin Barnthouse says the call came in around 1:15 PM.

Barnthouse says the accident is under investigation but doesn’t appear suspicious in nature.

Southbound 49 was blocked and traffic controls in place for over an hour while the accident was cleared.
