Rotary Gold Country Challenge bike ride this weekend

Long says the riders receive great support with rest stops along the way, many of them hosted by local groups like NEO and CORR, and Sierra Express Bicycle Club. The Nevada County Triathlon Club also hosts a coffee stop.

The riders will get to ride through downtown Grass Valley and Downtown Nevada City and the Century group will also go through north San Juan.

Long says it’s a great way to promote the area as a tourist attraction as well as raise funds for Rotary Projects.
