Safe Families for Children Program for Family Support

A local church has developed a program to helping families in crisis care for their children while working through issues.
Program leads, Jeanie Gregory and her husband  George Gregory of Twin Cities Church, say the program allows parents to arrange for their childrent to stay with pre-screened families while they work to return stability in their family.

There is no cost for services and host families are pre-screened for security and liability purposes to protect both client and program sponsors.

The program is modeled after a Chicago-based program started in 2002, and has participant limitations so that clients do not become dependent on services.
