Safety Project to Improve Road Signs in Nevada County

Nevada County has received grant funding to replace some 900 signs on 10 corridors in the county to improve traffic safety.

He says it may not sound like a big deal, but new signs with better reflective coatings and updated speed signs going into curves can greatly improve driving safety.

He says they just opened the bids, work should get started in May.
