Salvation Army to Hold Coat Drive

With the weather starting to cool off, the Salvation Army is gearing up for the cold weather ahead. Salvation Army Lieutenant Sid Salcido says they are looking for donations of coats and sleeping bags for those who have to spend the night on the streets or in their shelters…

They are starting a coat drive this week, but Salcido says they are also having a distribution of coats and sleeping bags today and tomorrow…

If you’d like to donate, or know someone who could use a coat or sleeping bag, the Salvation Army shelter is located at 10275 Alta Street in Grass Valley. The Salvation Army will be collecting coats and sleeping bags throughout November and December.
