Shelter visits are still by appointment only. But Wicks says Sammie’s Friends has had a successful online application process. Meanwhile, their re-opened Thrift Store could use more volunteer help. And also for this month only, she says if you get a botox treatment at the Saint Moritz Medical Center in Nevada City, the center will donate 50 dollars from the fee to the shelter.
