San Juan Fire Update- Arson?

A man possibly involved in an arson in North San Juan is able to talk to hospital staff and investigators. Nevada County Sheriff’s Lieutenant John Kropp says one of the people involved in a suspected fire off Jack Ass Flats Road Tuesday morning had emergency surgery shortly after arriving at Sutter Roseville Hospital.

Cal Fire and Nevada County Deputy Sheriff’s responded to a two acre brush fire and a possible assault. Cal Fire is conducting a separate investigation into the cause of the fire. While Deputies are investigation the assault. The Lieutenant says the hospitalized man and one of the involved people had a on going dispute of some kind.
