Santa Claus made an early appearance in Grass Valley in order to help a young girl and her family. Thursday afternoon Santa showed up on the corner of Dorsey and East Main St and collected donations for Shaylee Sanderson an 11 year old girl fighting brain cancer for the second time. Why was Santa out there?*
Santa knows that times are tough for a lot of people, but he wanted to collect enough to make a difference.
Santa was on the corner of Dorsey and east Main Street until 5:00 PM and he was thrilled to have so many people helping him collect $900 dollars in donations to help Shaylee and her family. A member of the KNCO Sales Team generously offered to make it an even $1000.
