Santa Paws Success!

The holiday season is a time for giving and receiving and the animals in Nevada County that  are in need homes received a gift from generous animal lovers. A local non-profit that works to find homes for cats and dogs that have been surrendered to the Grass Valley organization.  Animal Save, hosted the  Santa Paws silent and live auction at the Miner’s Foundry last weekend (Nov 17). Animal Save Executive Director, Caroline Niehaus, said the annual event was quite successful.

In addition to trying to find homes for cats and dogs, Animal Save also provide spay and neuter services to help with animal control.

Money raised from the Santa Paws Auction will go to support the spay and neuter program as well as the pet adoption programs.
