The storm that came over the western Nevada County area Saturday night didn’t last very long but it sure packed a punch.
Nevada County roads Department says they got reports of a tree toppled over on McCourtney near Thoroubred Loop. and CHP officer Greg Tassone says they responded out there to a report of an accident.

Tassone says the male driver in the Yukon did not receive serious injury.

Then, in Lake Wildwood another tree came crashing down into a parking area used to keep motorcycles. Bethany Trevethick  is the Administration and Communications Manager at Lake Wildwood.

She says there’s typically about 15 or so motorcycles parked in the front lot at any given time. They are still trying to sort out the owners of the motorcycles that received damage and work out the details. As for the rest of Lake Wildwood, it doesn’t appear there was any major storm damage.

The storm was fast moving, some areas of the county reported receiving rain, other’s didn’t have any.
