School Bus Gets Tangled On Way To School

A bus load of high school students was temporarily delayed on the way to school this morning. Shortly before 7:00 AM a Durham Transportation School bus transporting students to Nevada Union High School got tangled in a low hanging cable on Highway 174 near Peardale. Durham Transportation Operations Supervisor, Paula Davison, says the driver acted quickly and appropriately.

Davison says the bus was cleared and back on the road in about 15 minutes.

The bus wasn’t damaged and no one was hurt. Students may have been a few minutes late getting to school.
