School Closure Decision Made Penn Valley

The Board of Directors for the Penn Valley Union Elmentary School District has approved the closure of one of its three schools. They’ve approved closing Pleasant Valley K-8 School. 4th and 5th graders will join K-3 students at Williams Ranch School, in Lake Wildwood, creating a K-5. The changes take effect for the 2017-2018 school year and England says it is the least-expensive option, with a 140-thousand dollar cost that can still be covered by the current budget.
