Scofield and Miller to Lead Supervisors

The Nevada County Board of Supervisors has two new leaders. District 2 Supervisor Ed Scofield nominated as Chair and newly elected District 3 Supervisor Dan Miller nominated as Vice Chair at this morning’s Board of Supervisors meeting. Hank Weston nominating Ed Scofield.

BOS2015aAfter shuffling seats the new Chair awarded outgoing Chair Nate Beason a plaque of appreciation.

The meeting opened with a moment of silence honoring three victims of a January 10, 2001 shooting massacre at the County HEW Building and Lyons Restaurant in Grass Valley.
