Scofield Re-Elected To Third Supervisor Term

Nevada County Supervisor Ed Scofield has been elected to a third term in District 2, defeating Richard Harris, with over 60-percent of the vote. And although he says medical marijuana growing will continue to be a dominant topic for the Board this year, he says there are other important issues that will need to be addressed, including the increasing challenges with the homeless population. Scofield also says completion of the Combie Road improvement project by 2018 is something he’s looking forward to for the south county residents. Also re-elected, but unopposed, in District 5, was Richard Anderson.
