Scofield Testifies On Behalf Of Home Insurance Bill

Scofield says the bill would also prohibit a policy that provides coverage for living expenses from limiting the policyholder’s right to recovery, if the insured home is not inhabitable or otherwise usable. He says the legislation has been sent to the State Senate for further consideration and he hopes to go the State Capitol in person, next time, regardless of coronavirus restrictions.
