Scooter’s Pals is known for saving unwanted puppies from animal shelters around California that will put the animals down if they are not adopted in a certain time frame. This week Scooter’s Pals Executive Director Susan Wallace has a special request for Nevada County residents… its not saving puppies… but helping one of Scooter’s Pals best volunteers who has had a medical emergency.

The volunteer, Daryl, will be laid up for a while, but Wallace doesn’t think more than a month. Scooter’s Pals will also provide support for the temporary home.

Wallace says if yo have the time and space and of course love for small animals to give Scooter’s Pals or Sammie’s Friends Animal Shelter a call. Both organizations are working to help a man who has given so much helping both of them.
