Scotts Flat Lake Regatta Returns

Another event returning this year, after it was cancelled by the pandemic is what is now the 40th Annual Go for the Gold Regatta, put on by the Gold Country Yacht Club at Scotts Flat Lake. Talman says the Gold Country Yacht Club is also not offering barbecue meals for sale this year, due to lingering COVID restrictions. But people can bring their own food. The first races at the Regatta should begin between 11am and noon, depending on the wind, and wrap up in the late afternoon. The group also has classes offered for youths and adults to learn sailing.
