When the Nevada Irrigation District installed fencing and closed the gate across the top of, and along the edge of, the Scotts Flat Dam Spillway, in August, a number of residents complained about a lack of input. That includes Nevada City’s mayor. And now the district is holding a public workshop this evening, to look at options.
