Search for Grass Valley City Manager Continues

Grass Valley has been without a city manager for more than a month, and it looks like its going to take at least that much longer before they find a new one. Bob Richardson left his position to go back to being the City Manager of Auburn, and Public Works Director Tim Kiser has taken over as the acting City Manager. City Councilmember Lisa Swarthout says finding someone with the right qualifications isn’t easy…

Richardson was Grass Valley’s first full time City Manager since the city switched from a City Administrator form of government in 2013. The Grass Valley City Council meets this evening at 7 o’clock at City Hall.
