Secretary of State to Visit Democrat Club

California’s Secretary of State will be a special guest in Nevada County this weekend. Debra Bowen will be at the Nevada County Democratic Women’s Club luncheon on Saturday. She will give a speech, and will also present a scholarship. Club President Janet Reynolds says the club presents the Annette M. Gillette Scholarship, which was an essay contest, with a record 17 applicants this year…

Bowen will present a certificate to Grimm. The luncheon is tomorrow (Saturday) at 11:30am at the Holbrooke Hotel in Grass Valley. Tickets are 30 dollars.
