Senior Meals Program Gets Cut and Grant

Nevada County’s Meals on Wheels program has had a financial setback. Gold Country Community Services, in Grass Valley, is not getting an 80-thousand Community Development Block Grant, at least for this year. It goes into effect at the end of the month. Ruggles says Gold Country Community Services currently serves meals to about 180 seniors, who, for the time being, will not be impacted.
