To find out where the drop-off spots are, as well as other information, you can go to United Way’s website, or call 274-8111. Timpany says the collection drive will continue until around the middle of December, with the hope of full distribution of items being completed by the end of the year. She says United Way of Nevada County is currently focusing on helping with basic needs, such as food, emergency shelter, and access to health care.
