Share the Warmth Drive Underway

Timpany says although United Way helps the homeless, the focus in recent years has shifted to people with low-paying jobs that barely cover, or at times don’t cover, basic needs, such as food, emergency shelter, and access to health care…

Timpany says the drive continues through December 7th and they usually collect enough items to help 400 to 500 people. There are drop-off spots all over the county that you can find on United Way of Nevada County’s website.
