Shelter Takes Abandoned Goats

A Nevada County Animal Sanctuary is still trying to figure out what to do with two young goats that were dumped at their shelter before Christmas. Sturla says the nine month-old male goats are adorable and sweet, but are still afraid of people, and need a good home. Adoption applications are available on their website–animalplace.org. Sturla says tours of the sanctuary are also available (798-5140).
