Sheriff Pleased With Two Year Extension to Reduce Prison Population

California is getting two additional years to reduce its prison population.  A panel of federal judges granted the extension to give the state more time to cut the number of inmates to a level that was ordered in 2009. Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says this is a good thing for law enforcement.
