In the afternoon, they also found a property on Owl Creek Road that had 250 plants, but also a butane honey oil lab. No arrests were made in either case, but the owner of the Owl Creek Road property was cited, and the case was turned over to the District Attorney’s office for prosecution. Royal says in both cases, owners violated both the current county ordinance prohibiting all outdoor grows, and the previous ordinance that allowed outdoor grows on a limited basis…
Measure W would affirm the current ordinance banning all outdoor pot grows. Royal says his department has received 66 complaints about the marijuana ordinance. Three turned out to be in compliance, and 20 were unfounded, leaving about two-thirds to be in violation.
