This happened around 8:30 last night (Tuesday) on Ridge Road near A-to-Z Hardware. A deputy pointed in the area of the woman who lit the paper, and she was taken into custody after a short foot pursuit. Royal says the fire was fairly confined, and didn’t spread…

29 year-old Ashley McClain of Rough and Ready was booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility on felony arson charges.
