Sheriff Richard Mack to Speak About Challenges to Constitution

A former Arizona Sheriff who defied the federal government and won, will be the guest speaker at a event in Grass Valley in October. Former County Supervisor Fran Freedle of the Nevada County Republican Woman says Sheriff Richard Mack will be at the Grass Valley Veterans building October 18. She says Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal will introduce to former Sheriff.

sheriffmackMack took on the federal government over a portion of the Brady Bill that threatened to arrest a Sheriff if they did not comply with the bill. The US Supreme Court ruled in 1997 that Mack was correct and the Brady Bill was unconstitutional. The general admission will be ten dollarĀ  in advance tickets are available at the Briar Patch and Gold-n-Green rentals. The October 18 presentation starts at 6:30 with a question and answer period after.
