Sheriff Searching for Domestic Violence Suspect

Law enforcement  is seeking a violent domestic abuser. Nevada County Undersheriff Joe Salivar says the incident was reported Sunday night, near Lake of the Pines. The 25 year-old Blake Rogers came home intoxicated, that’s when his wife told him to leave because of the alcohol. Salavar says that’s when the situation turned violent.

Rogers was tracked to a motel in the Auburn area, but left minutes before deputies arrived. Rogers is driving a blue mid 2000s Mazda with a license number of 5-ZPA-235. He is wanted for questioning for domestic violence and threats. Any one with information is asked to call the sheriff at 265-7880.
