Sheriff Seeks Robbery Suspect

A robbery suspect may still be armed with a gun and law enforcement is looking for him. Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says Deputies went to a home near North San Juan to a reported armed robbery, Monday morning. Sheriff Royal says the victim said she received a call form 25 year old Cody Marra asking for her help with a car. When she went to the location Marra was not there. As she arrived back home, she saw Marra walking out her front door with two large garbage bags filled with marijuana. When the victim confronted Marra he said he had a gun and would use it.

The Sheriff says Marra is described as male, 5 feet eight inches tall, 180 pounds with blond hair blue eyes. He was last seen getting into a small white, possibly a Toyota, pickup with a camper shell. Any one with information on Marra location is encouraged to call the Sheriff at 265-7880.
