Pettit says it was an eye-opening experience to learn about how other countries deal with their problems, especially in a more dangerous part of the world…
Pettit says he learned that law enforcement in California are more trained than those in other states, and officers in other out-of-state departments are not required to be constantly taking training courses, which California requires.
