Sheriff’s Department Continues to Investigate Marijuana Ordinance Complaints

The Nevada County Sheriff says investigators are nearly a third of the way through complaints of marijuana growing in violation of the county ordinance. Sheriff Keith Royal says his department has received almost three hundred separate complaints of marijuana growing operations. Sheriff royal says almost ninety different locations have been checked by investigators.

The Sheriff says in some cases the mear posting of the property in violation of the growing marijuana, has prompted the growers to close up shop and move on. Sheriff Royal says every complaint will be investigated.
