Shoplifting Suspect Arrested

A Penn Valley woman is in jail after she allegedly punched  a store employee who approached because the she was suspected of shoplifting.  46-year-old Stacy Cook was seen taking items from a Glenbrook pharmacy on Saturday. Grass Valley Police Officer Colin Nelson told KNCO about the incident.

According to police, the woman was seen discarding additional stolen property as she fled across the parking lot. Police took Cook into custody on suspicion of burglary and assault and battery.
